7-inch FPV frames carry 7-inch props on 2806–2812 motors and are the standard platform for long range and cruising builds, where efficiency, GPS and a Li-ion or large LiPo pack matter more than agility. This page collects every 7-inch frame in our Frames range. Pick by camera system first — several frames here are cut for the DJI O4 air unit — then by arm thickness and pack bay, since a 7-inch quad carries two to three times the battery of a 5-inch.
How to choose a 7-inch frame
A 7-inch build weighs 550–900g ready to fly and cruises at low throttle for 15–40 minutes on Li-ion, so the frame is about carrying a big pack securely and keeping the GPS and antennas clear of the props.
- Arm thickness: 5–6mm arms handle the leverage of 7-inch props; thinner arms flex and vibrate.
- Camera and air unit fit: O4 Pro and O4 Lite need different mounts. Frames sold as O4 versions come with the right camera plates and a cavity for the air unit.
- Pack bay: check the top plate takes a 6S 3000mAh LiPo or a 6S2P/6S3P Li-ion pack lengthways.
- Deadcat vs true-X: DC (deadcat) geometry keeps props out of the camera view for cinematic shots; true-X is more neutral for freestyle-style flying.

Compatibility
Motors of 2806.5–2812 stator size at 1300–1750KV on 6S, or 1050–1300KV for 8S and Li-ion, are the usual pairing; the motor mount pattern on these frames is 16×16 or 19×19mm, both standard for that motor class. The stack mount is 30.5×30.5mm on every frame here, with 20×20 mounts on some for a second board.
Plan antenna placement early: a 7-inch frame is long enough to fit a 900MHz ELRS receiver and GPS on the rear arms or top plate, well away from the VTX.
