Who we are

Fioparts (fioparts.com) is operated by Fiodel Technologies Private Limited, GSTIN 06AAGCF2358B1Z0, Ground Floor, 543n, Pace City II, Sector 37, Gurugram, Haryana 122004. This page explains what personal data we collect when you use the store, why we collect it, and the choices you have. For anything privacy-related, write to contact@fioparts.com.

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes; we cannot read them.
• Addresses and orders — the shipping and billing addresses you save or enter at checkout (name, phone, address, and optionally your company name and GSTIN for GST invoices), plus your order history.
• Payment references — we never see or store your card details, UPI PIN, or banking credentials. You pay from your own UPI or banking app into our business account; we only receive the payment reference needed to match your payment to your order.
• Back-in-stock requests — the email address and product you asked us to notify you about.
• Emails we send you — a copy of each email (never the one-time codes in sign-in emails) and whether it was opened: our emails carry a tiny image, and when your email app loads it we note the time and the app or device type, not your IP address. That's how we know an order update reached you. Some email apps load images automatically, so it isn't proof you read it; turning off images in your email app stops it.
• Cookies — a sign-in session cookie, a cart cookie so your cart survives between visits, and an analytics cookie (below). We don't use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
• Usage analytics — we measure how the site is used with our own analytics, run on our own servers, with no third-party trackers; analytics stores no IP addresses. A first-party cookie holds a random code (kept for up to a year) so we can tell a returning visitor from a new one; it contains nothing about you and is never shared. We record the pages you view, what you search for and which filters you use, how you arrived (for example, a search engine or a shared link), your approximate location from your internet connection (country, region and city), your browser and device type, page-load speed and technical errors. When you place an order or download a quotation, we look at the visits that led to it so we know which of our pages and links work. While you're signed in, your visits are linked to your account so we can see what you looked at when you ask us for help. The Fioparts mobile app is measured the same way: each screen you open counts as a page view, under the same kind of random code. To opt out on the website, visit fioparts.com/?fp_analytics=off; the app has no opt-out switch yet.
• Traffic protection — to keep the site up under automated traffic, we log requests from crawlers and bots with their full IP address. If your own browser is briefly slowed down for sending too many requests, we note only its network — the first three parts of its IP address — and the page it asked for. Both are deleted after 14 days.
• Photo searches — when you search with a photo, we keep the photo (with its location and camera details removed), what our system read from it, and the products we showed, for up to 90 days, to improve search and our range. If you're signed in, the search is linked to your account.

How we use your data

To process, fulfil, ship, and support your orders; to verify payments; to send transactional email such as order updates, sign-in codes, and the back-in-stock alerts you asked for; and to issue GST invoices and maintain the records Indian tax law requires.

We don't run marketing email lists, and we never sell personal data.

What we share

• Delivery partners — your name, address, and phone number, so they can deliver your order.
• Service providers — our payment account provider processes incoming payments, Amazon SES delivers our transactional email, and an AI image-recognition service reads the photos you search with to identify the part. Each receives only what its job requires.
• Authorities — where the law requires it, for example GST and tax records.

No one else receives your personal details — every order is packed and dispatched from our own facility in Gurugram, so only the delivery partner carrying your parcel ever sees your address.

How long we keep it

Your account data stays until you ask us to delete it. Order and invoice records are retained for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, even if the account is deleted. Photo searches are deleted automatically after 90 days, traffic-protection logs after 14 days.

Your rights

You can view and edit your details and addresses from your account at any time. Email us at contact@fioparts.com to correct, export, or delete your data — we'll act on it promptly, keeping only what the law obliges us to retain.

We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Any grievance sent to the same address is acknowledged and resolved as quickly as we can.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date below.
