The HGLRC Zeus 2.5W is a high-output 5.8GHz analog video transmitter built for long-range FPV, mountain surfing, and cinelifter rigs that demand maximum signal penetration. To manage the extreme thermal loads generated by running at 2500mW, it is entirely encased in a CNC-machined aluminium alloy heatsink. A wide 2–8S input voltage range allows direct battery wiring on heavy-lift setups, while the dual-mounting hole layout ensures compatibility with standard quadcopter frames.
Adjustable output power across six levels, peaking at a massive 2.5W (2500mW) for maximum range.
CNC aluminium alloy enclosure acts as a robust heatsink to prevent thermal throttling.
Smart dual-pattern baseplate fits both 20x20mm and 30.5x30.5mm (M3) hardware stacks.
Integrated onboard microphone captures motor and wind audio for your FPV feed.
Supports the IRC Tramp protocol for quick OSD or radio-based VTX configuration.
Input voltage: 7–36V (2–8S LiPo)
Output power: PIT / 25 / 400 / 800 / 1500 / 2500mW
BEC output: 5V 500mA
Frequency band: 5.8GHz (40 Channels)
Antenna connector: MMCX
Control protocol: IRC Tramp
Mounting holes: 20x20mm / 30.5x30.5mm (M3)
Dimensions: 40 × 40 × 8.4 mm
Weight: 13.8g (without antenna)
Ensure an antenna is securely connected before powering up the VTX. When running at 1500mW or 2500mW, mount the unit where it will receive active airflow during flight to prevent overheating.
