Product details

The ADTi 24S V3 Surveyor Lite is the fourth generation of ADTi's 24MP APS-C mapping cameras, with a faster shutter aimed at fixed-wing survey aircraft that cover ground quickly. It keeps the ADTi SDK control system for Airpixel integration on PX4 and ArduPilot via MAVLink, in a 143 g aluminium housing.

Key features

  • Twice the shutter speed: double that of the 24L V1, 24L V2 and 24S V2, cutting motion blur at fixed-wing cruise speeds.
  • 24.3MP Sony APS-C CMOS: 23.5 × 15.6 mm sensor (366.6 mm²).
  • TTL or PWM triggering: selected with a switch to match your flight controller's camera-trigger output.
  • Touchscreen setup: a serial mini touchscreen for configuring the camera, plus an HDMI capture card for checking live settings on an Android device.
  • Aluminium housing: a sturdier shell than the ABS case of the 24L V2.

Specifications

  • Sensor: Sony CMOS, APS-C, 24.3MP effective
  • Sensor size: 23.5 × 15.6 mm (366.6 mm²)
  • Lens mount: Sony E
  • Triggering: TTL or PWM, switch-selectable
  • Housing: aluminium
  • Weight: 143 g
  • Dimensions: 89.8 × 63 × 36.2 mm

Choose the 24S V3 for fixed-wing and fast survey runs. For multirotor mapping where payload weight matters more than shutter speed, the 122 g 24L V2 is the lighter option.
