Fixed-Wing & Helicopter ESCs

ESCs for RC planes, flying wings, gliders and helicopters. Most have a built-in BEC that powers the receiver and servos, so check its voltage and current against your servo load: a linear BEC suits a few small servos on 2–3S, while a switching BEC (SBEC or UBEC) handles more servos and higher cell counts. Pick continuous current with 20–30% headroom over the motor's full-throttle draw, and check the input voltage range. Programmable settings such as brake, for folding glider props, are set from the throttle stick or a program card; helicopter ESCs such as the Scorpion Tribunus add a governor mode for constant head speed.
