Product details
The Hobbywing SkyWalker 50A V2 is a brushless speed controller for 3-4S fixed-wing models, from sport planes and warbirds to FPV wings and gliders, that draw up to 50 A. Its built-in switch-mode BEC feeds the receiver and servos from the flight pack, so the airframe needs no separate regulator.
Key features
- 50 A continuous, 70 A peak for 3S and 4S power systems
- 5 V / 5 A switch-mode BEC runs the receiver and servos directly
- DEO active freewheeling (Driving Efficiency Optimisation) for linear throttle response and lower ESC temperatures
- Reverse brake and linear reverse brake modes for shorter landings, plus a Search Mode that beeps the motor to help find a downed model
- Protection against abnormal input voltage, overheating, throttle-signal loss and low battery voltage
- Programmable from the transmitter sticks or with the Hobbywing LED Program Box
Specifications

Keep it to 3S or 4S packs; a 6S power system needs a higher-voltage ESC. Size the motor and prop so full-throttle current on your pack stays comfortably below 50 A, leaving headroom for hot days and long climbs.
