Hobbywing SkyWalker 80A V2 Fixed-Wing ESC with 5A BEC (3-6S)

The Hobbywing SkyWalker 80A V2 is a brushless speed controller for electric fixed-wing aircraft, with a built-in switch-mode BEC that powers the receiver and servos straight from the flight pack. It suits sport planes, trainers and larger foam or balsa models running 3–6S LiPo or 5–18 cell NiMH packs.

Key features

• 100A burst for up to 10 seconds on top of the 80A continuous rating, giving headroom on full-throttle climbs.
• 5V / 5A switch-mode BEC runs the receiver and a set of servos without a separate regulator.
• Safety arming: the motor will not spin when the battery is connected, whatever the throttle stick position.
• Throttle calibration matches the throttle range to different transmitters.
• Programmable by transmitter stick or Hobbywing LED program card, with adjustable timing to suit different brushless motors.
• Protection against low voltage, overheating and throttle-signal loss.
