The ImpulseRC ApexDC EVO 5-inch Mr Steele Edition is a deadcat freestyle frame built for pilots who fly HD digital camera systems and want the front arms clear of the camera's field of view.

Key features

• Deadcat geometry with front 5-inch and rear 6-inch arms keeps propellers out of the HD camera frame.
• Front and rear motors stay aligned, so the motor layout keeps the compressed-X geometry and handling of a standard Apex.
• Isolated camera mount reduces vibration transfer into HD footage.
• Aluminium camera mount with TPU insulation inserts gives four camera positions, 2 mm apart, and keeps the camera electrically isolated from the carbon.
• Mr Steele Edition extras include Coyote Brown skids and bumper, rubber flight-controller vibration mounts, an HD video antenna mount and a Tracer Immortal-T mount.
• Frame arms and plates ship as a complete kit, ready to build without extra hardware to buy.
