The Matek RM3100 CAN Magnetometer provides industrial-grade heading accuracy for large-scale ArduPilot builds, VTOLs, and heavy-lift platforms. Built around the premium PNI RM3100 geomagnetic sensor, it offers exceptional signal-to-noise performance and rejects magnetic interference far better than standard QMC5883L or IST8310 compasses. Running AP_Periph firmware, this node communicates over a robust CAN bus, allowing you to mount the compass far from high-current power systems without signal degradation or EMI on the data lines.
