The Matek AP_Periph M9N-G4-3100 is an industrial-grade DroneCAN GNSS module designed for large ArduPilot and PX4 builds where positioning and heading reliability are critical. By pairing the concurrent multi-constellation u-blox NEO-M9N receiver with a highly interference-resistant PNI RM3100 magnetometer, this module delivers rock-solid navigation data for heavy-lift cinelifters, VTOLs, and agricultural drones.
DroneCAN interface ensures robust, noise-immune communication over long cable runs, bypassing the distance limits and vulnerability of traditional I2C compass wiring.
Integrated PNI RM3100 industrial compass offers exceptional immunity to the magnetic interference generated by high-current motors and ESCs.
Powered by an STM32G474 MCU running AP_Periph firmware, acting as a highly efficient dedicated CAN node.
Concurrent reception of up to four GNSS constellations (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou) for rapid locks and high satellite counts.
GNSS Engine: u-blox NEO-M9N
Magnetometer (Compass): PNI RM3100
CAN Node MCU: STM32G474
Supported Protocols: DroneCAN
Input Voltage: 4.5V – 5.3V (5V via CAN bus)
This module connects directly to your flight controller's CAN port, freeing up valuable UARTs. Ensure your flight controller supports CAN hardware and is flashed with compatible ArduPilot or PX4 firmware to natively utilise the DroneCAN protocol.
