Product details

The Holybro Zephyr is an ExpressLRS (ELRS) Gemini X receiver with two Semtech LR1121 radios for true-diversity reception, configurable for 915 MHz sub-GHz or 2.4 GHz LoRa operation. At 2.3 g it suits FPV quads, long-range builds, fixed-wings and Pixhawk-based UAVs that need a stable control and telemetry link.

Key features

  • Dual LR1121 transceivers with an ESP32-PICO-D4 processor for Gemini true-diversity reception
  • Covers 902–928 MHz and 2400–2500 MHz, so one receiver serves either a sub-GHz long-range setup or a 2.4 GHz setup
  • Telemetry output up to 100 mW (20 dBm) on either band
  • TCXO for frequency stability; packet rates from 50 Hz to 500 Hz
  • Built-in Wi-Fi antenna for wireless firmware updates; two dual-band T-antennas on IPEX1 connectors included

Specifications

  • Processor: ESP32-PICO-D4
  • RF chips: 2 x Semtech LR1121
  • Frequency ranges: 902–928 MHz and 2400–2500 MHz
  • Telemetry power: 100 mW (20 dBm) max per band
  • Packet rate: 50–500 Hz
  • Modulation: LoRa, FSK
  • Antennas: dual-band T-antenna, 3 ±1 dBi, IPEX1 (U.FL)
  • Input voltage: 4–7 V DC
  • Current: 350 mA max at 5 V
  • Signal connector: SH1.0 4-pin
  • Dimensions: 16 x 27 x 5 mm (without antennas)
  • Weight: 2.3 g without antennas, 11 g with
  • In the box: receiver, 2 x dual-band T-antennas, SH1.0 4-pin cable, heat-shrink tube

Pair it with an ELRS transmitter on the band you plan to fly and a matching firmware version. Wire it to a spare flight-controller UART and a 5 V pad, and keep the two antennas apart and pointing in different directions to get the most from diversity.
