The SpeedyBee TX800 is a compact analog video transmitter engineered to deliver high-penetration video for 3-inch to 5-inch freestyle and medium-range drone builds. With output levels peaking at 800mW, it maintains a robust 5.8GHz video link through obstacles and across distances, all while fitting neatly onto a standard 20x20mm stack.
Switchable output power levels from PIT mode up to 800mW to accommodate tight racing limits or long-range flights.
Factory-fitted aluminium heatsink actively dissipates heat to prevent thermal throttling and transmission drops mid-flight.
Full IRC Tramp protocol support allows rapid band, channel, and power adjustments directly via Betaflight OSD.
Utilises a robust MMCX antenna connector, providing superior physical durability over standard U.FL connections in a crash.
Input voltage: 5V
Operating current: 5V@250mA (25mW) to 5V@750mA (800mW)
Output power: PIT / 25mW / 200mW / 400mW / 800mW
Control protocol: IRC Tramp
Antenna connector: MMCX 50 Ohm
Mounting pattern: 20x20mm
Dimensions: 28x28mm
Weight: 5.6g (without antenna)
Because the TX800 requires a dedicated 5V power source rather than direct battery voltage (VBAT), you must ensure your flight controller's 5V BEC is rated for at least 1A to safely handle the peak current draw when transmitting at 800mW.
