Product details

The ReadyToSky 2212 920KV is the classic outrunner for F450 and S500 quadcopters and F550 hexacopters running 3–4S LiPo. Its low KV pairs with 10-inch (1045) propellers for steady, efficient lift rather than outright speed, which suits training and educational builds and light camera carriers. It is available in clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation, so you can make up a matched set.

Key features

  • Around 500 g of maximum thrust per motor with a 1045 prop, roughly 2 kg across a quad.
  • Colour-coded caps: black on the CW motor, silver on the CCW motor, so rotation is clear at a glance.
  • 6 mm shaft and 16 x 19 mm mounting holes, the standard fit on F450 and S500 arms.
  • Runs on a 30 A ESC on 3S or 4S.
  • 60 g per motor keeps a four-motor set at about 240 g.

Specifications

  • Stator: 2212 (22 mm diameter, 12 mm height)
  • KV: 920KV
  • Input voltage: 3–4S LiPo (11.1–14.8 V nominal)
  • Maximum thrust: approx. 500 g
  • Recommended propeller: 1045 (10 x 4.5 in)
  • Recommended ESC: 30 A
  • Shaft diameter: 6 mm
  • Motor mount: 16 x 19 mm
  • Weight: 60 g
  • Rotation: CW (black cap) or CCW (silver cap)
  • In the box: 1 x motor with its cap

A quadcopter needs two CW and two CCW motors, so order two of each and follow your flight controller's motor diagram when fitting them. Avoid taking off from loose soil or dust, which gets into the bell, and blow the motors clean every few flights to protect the bearings.
