Product details

The MAD 4006 EEE is a 380KV brushless outrunner for long-endurance multirotors and heavy-lift UAVs on 6S LiPo. Weighing 72 g, it produces up to 2.2 kg of thrust — a 30.5:1 thrust-to-weight ratio — on 13–16 inch carbon fibre propellers, the low-KV, high-torque combination used on mapping, inspection and cinematography airframes built for flight time.

Key features

  • Recommended working load of 500–1000 g per motor, with 2.2 kg maximum thrust in reserve.
  • Efficiency above 81% for more flight time per pack.
  • Rotor balanced to under 5 mg to keep vibration away from the flight controller and camera.
  • Open-body design for passive cooling.
  • Supplied with a propeller plate, adapter ring, 3.5 mm bullet connectors, heat-shrink and screws.

Specifications

  • Stator size: 4006 (40 × 6 mm)
  • KV: 380
  • Battery: 6S LiPo (22.2 V nominal)
  • Max thrust: 2.2 kg
  • Max current: 17.8 A
  • Max power: 419 W
  • Torque: 0.43 Nm
  • Propellers: 13–16 inch carbon fibre
  • Outer diameter: 44.34 mm
  • Weight: 72 g
  • In the box: 1 motor, 1 propeller plate, 1 adapter ring, 3 × 3.5 mm bullet connectors, 3 heat-shrink tubes, 6 screws

At 500–1000 g per motor, a quad on four of these suits an all-up weight of roughly 2–4 kg. Pair each motor with a 6S-capable ESC rated comfortably above its 17.8 A maximum draw.
