Which Matek FC

Compatibility

All Matek boards here have current INAV and ArduPilot targets (and Betaflight on the quad boards). The WING V3 accepts up to 8S on its main input; the Slim/Mini boards take 2–6S (3–8S on some pads — check the listing). Matek publishes full wiring diagrams for each board, and their GNSS modules ship with the matching JST-GH/SH leads.

Which Matek FC for a fixed wing or VTOL?
The H743-WING V3 — servo rails with a dedicated BEC, dual battery inputs and 8 UARTs, with INAV and ArduPilot support. It is the default wing controller in both communities.
Can Matek boards run Betaflight?
The quad boards (H743-Slim, H743-Mini, H7A3-Slim, F405-HDTE) run Betaflight as well as INAV/ArduPilot. The WING boards are INAV/ArduPilot only.
Do I need a separate GPS for ArduPilot on a Matek FC?
Yes — the FC has no GNSS. Pair it with a Matek M10Q-5883 or M9N-5883 (GPS plus compass) over UART, or the AP_Periph DroneCAN GNSS over CAN.
