T-Motor Navigator MN601-S Waterproof Motor 170KV/320KV (2PCS/Set)

The T-Motor Navigator MN601-S is a semi-enclosed, waterproof motor for large multirotors used in aerial photography, monitoring and mapping, sold as a set of two. Pick the 320KV for 6S builds or the 170KV for 6–12S; both are matched to 20–21 inch T-Motor fixed or folding carbon-fibre props.

Key features

• Semi-closed design: a grid-patterned bell cap and grid inlet holes in the base block debris while letting air through, even when the motor is mounted upside down.

• IP45 protection: dust- and water-resistant, with anti-rust, anti-corrosion treatment and 150°C-rated magnets.

• Centrifugal cooling: a built-in fan pulls air through the motor to improve heat dissipation.

• Burn-out protection: high-temperature windings cope better with a trapped prop or overload.

• Secure rotor: the T-shaped internal shaft is fixed with a clip and screw.

A quad needs two sets and a hexa three. Running the 170KV on 12S delivers similar power at far lower current, which eases ESC, wiring and connector sizing on bigger airframes.
