Product details
The SparkFun GPS-15210 is a GNSS breakout board built around the u-blox SAM-M8Q receiver, with an integrated antenna and Qwiic I2C connector for drone navigation and embedded positioning projects.
Key features
- 72-channel SAM-M8Q engine tracks GPS, GLONASS and Galileo simultaneously for better accuracy and lock reliability.
- Integrated patch antenna, SAW filter and LNA remove the need for external RF wiring.
- Qwiic connectors give solder-free I2C wiring, with legacy 0.1in pins also broken out.
- Onboard backup battery preserves orbit data, cutting hot-start lock time to around 1 second against a 26 second cold start.
- Board measures 40.64 x 40.64mm with four 4-40 mounting holes, and runs from a 2.7-3.6V supply.
