Caddx cameras run from the Ant, a 2g nano camera for whoops, to the Ratel 2, one of the best-known 19mm analog cameras for 5-inch quads, plus specialised units — the Infra V2 infrared camera and the Farsight zoom — and the Nebula Pro Nano for DJI digital systems. This page collects every Caddx camera and lens in our FPV Cameras range. How to choose a Caddx camera
An analog FPV camera decides how the world looks in your goggles, especially at dusk and in high contrast. Caddx's Ratel line is known for low-light performance; the Ant and Baby Ratel bring the same sensors to smaller frames.
- Size: 19mm (Ratel 2, Ratel Pro) for 5-inch and larger frames; 14mm (Baby Ratel 2) for 3 to 4-inch and micro frames; 12mm nano (Ant) for whoops and toothpicks.
- Sensor and resolution: 1200TVL sensors with a 1/1.8" or 1/3" sensor; the Ratel 2 uses a Starlight sensor for low light.
- Lens: 1.8mm lenses give a wide field of view; 2.1mm is narrower and less fish-eyed. Spare lenses are here for the Ratel and Ant, and for Polar, Avatar Pro and Moonlight digital cameras.
- Specialised: Infra V2 sees in infrared for night and inspection flying; Farsight 8X is a zoom camera for observation; Nebula Pro Nano is a DJI-system camera replacement.

Compatibility
Analog Caddx cameras connect to any 5.8GHz analog VTX with a three-wire lead (power, ground, video) and run on 5–40V, so they can take VTX or battery voltage. The 19mm and 14mm cameras fit the standard side-plate mounts of their size class; nano cameras fit whoop canopies. The Nebula Pro Nano plugs into DJI's original air unit and Vista cameras' connector only.
Set the camera's OSD (image mode, WDR, exposure) through the joystick on the lead or the flight controller's camera-control pin.
Frequently asked questions
- Caddx Ratel 2 or Ratel Pro?
- Ratel 2 is the low-light Starlight-sensor camera with a wider dynamic range; Ratel Pro is the sharper daylight camera. Both are 19mm analog cameras and fit the same mounts.
- Will the Caddx Ant fit my whoop?
- The Ant is a 14×14mm nano camera at 2g with a 1.2mm profile, made for 65–85mm whoops and toothpicks. Check the canopy takes a nano (12–14mm) camera — most current whoop canopies do.
- Does the Nebula Pro Nano work with DJI O3 or O4?
- No. It replaces the camera on the original DJI Air Unit and Caddx Vista. O3 and O4 air units have fixed cameras.
