Product details

The Holybro SiK Long Range is a 1 W telemetry radio for the 902–928 MHz band, linking a Pixhawk-class flight controller to Mission Planner, QGroundControl or another MAVLink ground station. It runs open-source SiK firmware and suits mapping, survey and long-range autonomous missions that outgrow a standard 100 mW telemetry radio.

Key features

  • Output adjustable up to 30 dBm (1 W); it ships set to 21 dBm, so raise it only as far as local rules allow
  • Receive sensitivity of -121 dBm at 2 kbps; Holybro quotes around 50 km line-of-sight with 5 dBi antennas
  • Interchangeable air and ground units with adaptive TDM for two-way, full-duplex transparent serial data
  • Pre-configured for plug-and-play use with Pixhawk Standard flight controllers over a 6-pin JST-GH UART
  • Offered as a single radio or as a pair for both ends of the link

Specifications

  • Frequency: 902–928 MHz
  • Max RF power: 30 dBm (1 W)
  • Receive sensitivity: -121 dBm at 2 kbps, -105 dBm at 64 kbps
  • Antenna connector: RP-SMA female
  • UART: 6-pin JST-GH, 3.3 V TTL
  • USB: Type-C
  • Power input: 7–28 V via XT30
  • Dimensions: 66.5 × 32 × 16.5 mm without antenna
  • Weight: 67 g with antenna

Plan a 7–28 V feed to the radio's XT30 power input when laying out the aircraft wiring. Buy a single unit to replace a failed radio, or a pair to set up a new link from scratch.
