Product details

A 433MHz SiK telemetry radio set in the 3DR Radio V1 format, linking an ArduPilot or PX4 flight controller to a ground station for live MAVLink telemetry, mission uploads and parameter changes in flight. The kit pairs a serial air module with a USB ground module.

Key features

  • Air module connects to the flight controller over a standard TTL UART; the ground module plugs into a laptop over USB
  • Open-source SiK firmware with MAVLink framing and status reporting; upgrades and settings are handled in Mission Planner or through AT and RT commands
  • Frequency-hopping spread spectrum with adaptive TDM, LBT and AFA support, plus error-correcting code that recovers up to 25% of data bit errors
  • Air data rates up to 250kbps with -117dBm receive sensitivity
  • RP-SMA antenna connectors and LED link-status indicators

Specifications

  • Frequency: 433MHz
  • Transmit power: 500mW
  • Receive sensitivity: -117dBm
  • Air data rate: up to 250kbps
  • Interface: TTL UART (air), USB (ground)
  • Antenna connector: RP-SMA
  • Net weight: 56.5 g

Both ends of a link must run the same band and matching SiK settings, so pair this kit with itself or with another 433MHz SiK radio. Real-world range depends on antennas, line of sight, interference and the air data rate you set — lower rates reach further, and a bidirectional amplifier extends it again.
