Product details
The HGLRC Hammer Dual is a 5.8 GHz FPV antenna that packs two radiating elements into one housing for wider, steadier coverage than a single-element omni. This version is RHCP with an SMA male connector on RG141 coax, for VTXs, goggles and ground receivers with an SMA port.
Key features
Dual-element design: HGLRC rates its coverage about 30% higher than a comparable single antenna.
Omnidirectional pattern holds the link as the craft banks and changes attitude.
Wide 5.35–6 GHz bandwidth with 4.4 dBi peak gain at 5.8 GHz and 3.75 dBi average.
Low reflection: 1.46 average VSWR and 73.5% average radiation efficiency.
Clean polarisation: axial ratio ≤3 and -20 dB cross-polarisation suppression help reject multipath.
Specifications
Frequency range: 5.35–6 GHz
Gain: 4.4 dBi max (5800 MHz), 3.1 dBi min (5350 MHz), 3.75 dBi average
VSWR: 1.17 min, 1.75 max, 1.46 average
Radiation efficiency: 66–81%, 73.5% average
Polarisation: RHCP
Cross-polarisation suppression: -20 dB
Axial ratio: ≤3
Connector: SMA male (inner pin)
Cable: RG141
Length: 170 mm (±5 mm)
Weight: 13.8 g (±0.5 g)
The 5.35–6 GHz range covers analog 5.8 GHz channels and digital video systems that run in the 5.8 GHz band. Pair it with RHCP antennas at the other end of the link, since mixing RHCP and LHCP costs a large share of signal.
