Product details
The TrueRC X-AIR 5.8 MK II is a compact directional antenna for 5.8GHz FPV goggles and video receivers, here in left-hand circular polarisation (LHCP). Its redesigned aerospace-grade PCB element takes nearly a quarter of the original X-AIR's footprint while keeping a wide, forgiving beam, so long-range pilots gain reach without constantly aiming their head at the quad. It mounts directly on the goggles' antenna jack.
Key features
- 9.5-10.5 dBic gain over a 5.1-6.7 GHz bandwidth
- 120-degree useful beam width, 68 degrees at the -3 dB point
- Clean circular polarisation for less multipath breakup near buildings and trees
- Small 32 x 32 x 16 mm body that sits on the goggles without a separate mount
- Choice of SMA or RP-SMA connector

LHCP only links properly with LHCP, so fit it when the antenna on your VTX is LHCP and choose RHCP gear for an RHCP quad. SMA and RP-SMA jacks look alike but do not mate, so check your goggles before picking the connector, and pair the X-AIR with an omni on a diversity setup to keep close-in coverage.
