The SparkFun GPS-24114 is a dual-band GNSS breakout built around the u-blox NEO-F10N receiver, giving custom flight controllers and companion computers concurrent GPS, Galileo and BeiDou reception on the L1 and L5 bands.
Key features
- L1/L5 dual-band reception improves positional accuracy to around 1.5 m and helps in built-up areas.
- SMA connector for an external active antenna, plus an onboard CH340C USB-to-serial converter and USB-C for direct configuration.
- Backup battery shortens hot-start times; typical fixes take 28 s cold and 2 s hot.
- Outputs standard NMEA and UBX protocols over UART at up to 20 Hz.
- Compact 50.8 x 38.1 mm board weighing 9.75 g, suited to space-constrained builds.
