Product details
This I2C splitter turns a flight controller's single I2C port into several, so an external compass, external LED, airspeed sensor and other I2C peripherals can run on the same bus at once. It suits Pixhawk and APM controllers that expose only one I2C socket.
Key features
- Five parallel 4-pin 1.25mm sockets: one connects to the flight controller, four go to peripherals
- Every socket shares the same bus lines, so any port can take the feed from the FC
- Passive board with nothing to configure
- Connecting cable included to link the board to the flight controller
Specifications
- Ports: 5 × 4-pin, 1.25mm pitch (1 in, 4 out)
- Connector type: DF13
- Compatibility: Pixhawk / APM flight controllers
- Included: Splitter board and connecting cable
Every device on a shared I2C bus needs its own address, so two identical sensors with the same fixed address cannot run together. Check the addresses of your peripherals before wiring them through the splitter.
