Product details

The Holybro PM02D HV is a digital power module that powers a Pixhawk 5X or 6X flight controller from the flight battery and reports pack voltage and current over I2C. This high-voltage version accepts 2S to 12S LiPo, which suits heavy-lift, industrial and agricultural multirotors as well as large fixed-wing aircraft.

Key features

  • Switching regulator delivers 5.2 V at up to 3 A to the flight controller through a single 6-pin 2.00 mm CLIK-Mate cable.
  • Current sensing up to 327 A; the PCB is rated 60 A continuous and 100 A burst (under 60 s).
  • Supplied fully assembled with XT60 connectors on 14 AWG silicone wire, wrapped in heat-shrink.
  • Supplied leads rated 30 A continuous and 60 A burst (under 1 minute), so plan heavier wiring if your aircraft draws more.
  • Firmware support: PX4, and ArduPilot 4.4 or later.

Specifications

  • Input voltage: 2S–12S LiPo (HV)
  • Regulated output: 5.2 V, 3 A max
  • PCB current rating: 60 A continuous, 100 A burst (under 60 s)
  • Max current sensing: 327 A
  • Power connectors: XT60, 14 AWG silicone wire
  • FC connector: Molex CLIK-Mate 2.00 mm, 6-pin, 3 A per contact
  • Interface: I2C voltage and current monitor
  • Weight: 20 g
  • In the box: PM02D module, 6-pin 2.00 mm cable

It works only with flight controllers that read an I2C (digital) power monitor, such as the Pixhawk 5X and 6X; analogue-input boards like the Pixhawk 6C and 6C Mini, Pixhawk 4 and 4 Mini, pix32 v5 and Durandal need an analogue module instead. It is not designed to power servos, so feed those from the ESC BEC or a separate regulator.
