Gemfan Vortex 9x4.5 Glass Fiber Nylon Electric Propeller (2 pcs)

The Gemfan Vortex 9x4.5 is a low-pitch two-blade electric propeller for compact fixed-wing aircraft, trainers and slow flyers that value strong thrust and efficient cruising over top speed. It comes in packs of two in the rotation you select.

Key features

• 4.5 in pitch on a 9 in disc favours climb thrust, control and energy efficiency
• Glass-fibre reinforced nylon for toughness, bending resistance and dimensional stability
• CFD-optimised Vortex blade with a frosted leading edge and slim tips to cut drag and noise
• Anti-slip hub surface and precision dynamic balancing for secure, low-vibration running
• 6.35 mm bore with six adapter rings (3, 3.17, 4, 5, 6 and 8 mm) to suit most shafts and prop adapters
• Available as CCW (9x4.5E, standard rotation) or CW (reverse rotation)

Choosing rotation: CCW (E) is the standard prop for a conventional nose-mounted tractor motor. CW turns the opposite way, for a pusher mount or the second motor of a twin, where opposite rotation cancels torque. For a twin, order one pack of each.
