Gemfan Vortex 5x5 Glass Fiber Nylon Electric Propeller (2 pcs)

The Gemfan Vortex 5x5 is a compact two-blade electric propeller for small fixed-wing models, park flyers and light UAVs on small brushless motors. It comes in packs of two in the rotation you select.

Key features

• Square 5 in pitch (pitch equals diameter) for an even mix of climb thrust and cruising speed
• Glass-fibre reinforced nylon for stiffness and impact resistance at low weight
• Strict dynamic balancing keeps vibration down at high RPM
• 6.35 mm bore with four adapter rings (3, 4, 5 and 6 mm) for common motor shafts and prop adapters
• Available as CCW (5x5E, standard rotation) or CW (5x5R, reverse rotation)

Specifications

• Diameter: 5 in (127 mm)

• Blades: 2
• Hub diameter: 13 mm

Choosing rotation: CCW (E) is the standard prop for a conventional nose-mounted tractor motor. CW (R) turns the opposite way, for a pusher mount or the second motor of a twin, where opposite rotation cancels torque. For a twin, order one pack of each.
