Gemfan Vortex 7x13 Glass Fiber Nylon Electric Propeller (2 pcs)

The Gemfan Vortex 7x13 is a high-pitch two-blade electric propeller for fast fixed-wing models and speed-focused electric UAVs. It comes in packs of two in the rotation you select.

Key features

• 13 in pitch on a 7 in disc: a theoretical 13 in of travel per revolution, tuned for top speed rather than static thrust
• Glass-fibre reinforced nylon for strength, resilience and a long service life
• Precision balancing minimises vibration, easing the load on motor bearings
• 6.35 mm bore with four adapter rings (3, 4, 5 and 6 mm) for common motor shafts and prop adapters
• Available as CCW (7x13E, standard rotation) or CW (7x13R, reverse rotation)

Choosing rotation: CCW (E) is the standard prop for a conventional nose-mounted tractor motor; CW (R) suits a pusher mount or the second motor of a twin, where opposite rotation cancels torque. A high-pitch prop loads a motor harder than a low-pitch prop of the same diameter, so check current draw with a wattmeter before flying.
