Solder the supplied 1000µF 35V capacitor across the ESC battery pads, as close to them as possible: on 6S it soaks up voltage spikes that would otherwise reach the ESC and flight controller. Size the motors so their peak draw on your cell count stays within the 60 A per-channel rating.
