Product details

The CUAV CAN PDB is a baseboard for CUAV's modular flight-controller cores that also does the work of a power module and a power distribution board. One board takes the main battery lead, measures voltage and current, splits power to the ESCs and feeds the autopilot and its peripherals, giving large multirotors, VTOLs and industrial UAVs running ArduPilot or PX4 a single low-loss wiring hub.

Key features

  • Runs on 4S–14S LiPo packs and carries 110 A continuous through an ultra-thick copper PCB with tinned power windows for low resistance and better heat dissipation
  • Battery voltage and current measured to 0.05 V and 0.1 A accuracy across the full 110 A range
  • Ten soldered main power outputs with very low voltage drop, so ESC leads cannot work loose under vibration the way screw terminals can
  • 14 servo/PWM outputs, 5 UARTs, 2 CAN and 3 I2C ports, plus SBUS, DSM and PPM receiver inputs
  • Regulated 5 V and 12 V/4 A outputs for peripherals such as cameras and companion computers
  • Power LED shows battery voltage status at a glance

Specifications

  • Battery input: 4S–14S LiPo
  • Continuous current: 110 A
  • Current sensing: 0–110 A, 0.1 A accuracy
  • Voltage accuracy: 0.05 V
  • Regulated outputs: 5 V, 12 V/4 A
  • Servo outputs: 14
  • Main power outputs: 10 solder pads
  • Compatible cores: CUAV V5+, X7, X7 Pro, X7+, X7+ Pro
  • Firmware: ArduPilot 4.0.0 or later, PX4 1.11.0 or later
  • Dimensions: 128 × 100 × 12 mm
  • Weight: 200 g with cables

Pair the board with a CUAV V5+ or X7-series core, and size the power system so the total ESC draw stays inside the 110 A continuous rating.
