Adjustable DC-DC buck (step-down) converter built on the XL4016E1 regulator, taking 5–40V in and delivering a constant-voltage output anywhere from 1.2V to 35V. On a drone or the bench it turns a flight pack or power supply into a clean rail for companion computers, cameras, LED strips or test loads.

Set the output voltage with a multimeter before connecting any electronics, and keep the input a few volts above the output — a buck converter cannot step up. Double-check polarity on both terminals before powering it from a LiPo.
