QS8-S Anti-Spark Battery Connector, 110A (5.1 / 15 Ohm)

QS8-S is a heavy-duty battery connector with a built-in anti-spark resistor: the ESC capacitors pre-charge through the resistor before the main contacts close, so plugging in a high-voltage pack does not arc or pit the contacts. It suits heavy-lift, agricultural and large fixed-wing power systems that draw well over 100 A.

Order the pair for a new build, or a single half to replace a damaged plug on a battery or ESC lead. The 15 Ω version limits switch-on inrush current to about a third of the 5.1 Ω version's, at the cost of a slightly longer pre-charge. Use a high-wattage iron so the large solder cups heat through quickly without softening the housing.
