Product details

The KST X10 V8.0 is a slim digital wing servo for RC gliders. Its CNC-machined aluminium case is only 10 mm thick, so it fits thin wing sections, while hardened steel gears and a coreless motor deliver up to 10.8 kgf·cm at 8.4 V. It is made for F3J, F3B and F3F aileron and flap installations.

Key features

  • Wide 4.8–8.4 V supply range (rated 7.4 V): runs from a standard 5–6 V BEC or straight from a 2S LiPo.
  • 9.5 kgf·cm and 0.12 s/60° at the 7.4 V rated voltage.
  • Hardened steel gear train on two ball bearings.
  • Programmable, with soft start.
  • Potentiometer position sensor and ±50° travel (100° total).
  • 28 g with a 15 cm lead.

Specifications

  • Model: X10 V8.0
  • Operating voltage: 4.8–8.4 V (rated 7.4 V)
  • Torque: 6.2 / 7.5 / 9.5 / 10.8 kgf·cm at 4.8 / 6.0 / 7.4 / 8.4 V
  • Speed: 0.16 / 0.14 / 0.12 / 0.10 s/60° at 4.8 / 6.0 / 7.4 / 8.4 V
  • Control signal: 1520 µs neutral, 333 Hz
  • Travel: ±50° (100° total)
  • Motor / sensor: coreless DC / potentiometer
  • Dimensions: 30 × 10 × 35.5 mm (±0.2 mm)
  • Lead length: 15 cm
  • Weight: 28 g (±10%)
  • Operating temperature: −10 °C to +65 °C
  • In the box: 1 servo, 5 plastic servo horns, 1 horn screw, 3 mounting screws

Torque and speed scale with voltage — 6.2 kgf·cm at 4.8 V against 10.8 kgf·cm at 8.4 V — so an HV supply gets the most out of it on heavily loaded flaps. Check the 30 × 10 × 35.5 mm footprint against your wing pocket before ordering.
