KD Drones KD70 X8/X4 Cinelifter Frame

The KD Drones KD70 is a 7-inch carbon-fibre X8 cinelifter frame built to carry a cinema camera such as a Red Komodo or Sony FX6 on an FPV rig; its top and bottom plates can also be assembled on their own as an X4.

Key features

• Coaxial X8 layout doubles motor count for the extra thrust a heavy camera payload needs, while still converting to X4 for lighter loads.
• The two motor layers detach with just two plugs, so the frame opens up without removing or de-soldering motors.
• KDCM/DAC camera-mount hole pattern (61 x 50.8mm M4 holes with press nuts) on the top and bottom plates; the camera mount itself is sold separately.
• Naked Blackmagic camera mounting holes (90 x 124mm, M3) on the top plate, with 20x20mm, 25.5x25.5mm and 30.5x30.5mm stack mounting throughout.
• 1/4-20 slots on the bottom let accessories bolt straight to the frame.
• Motor mounting covers both 16x16mm and 19x19mm M3 patterns, fitting the larger motors a cinelifter build typically runs.
