Gemfan Vortex 8x8 Glass Fiber Nylon Electric Propeller (1 pc)

The Gemfan Vortex 8x8 is a square-pitch two-blade electric propeller for fixed-wing UAVs, RC aircraft and survey or recreational planes. It is sold singly, in standard CCW rotation (8x8E).

Key features

• Square 8 in pitch (pitch equals diameter) for an even mix of thrust and forward speed
• Glass-fibre reinforced nylon for rigidity and impact resistance at low weight
• CFD-optimised Vortex airfoil with ultra-thin tips and a frosted leading edge to reduce drag, vortices and noise at high RPM
• Factory dynamic balancing and an anti-slip hub for smooth, secure mounting
• 6.35 mm bore with six adapter rings (3, 3.17, 4, 5, 6 and 8 mm) to suit most shafts and prop adapters

This standard-rotation prop suits a conventional nose-mounted tractor motor. A pusher mount or the second motor of a twin needs a reverse-rotation (R) prop instead, so that opposite rotation cancels torque.
