Gemfan 19x12R Electric Wooden Propeller

The Gemfan 19x12R is a two-blade wooden propeller with a 19-inch diameter and a 12-inch pitch, made for electric RC aircraft. A prop this size suits large electric fixed-wing models on big, low-KV motors, and its pitch-to-diameter ratio of about 0.63 balances cruise speed with pulling power. Sold as a single propeller.

Key features

• Wooden blades — stiff, hold their pitch under load and can be fine-balanced by light sanding
• 12-inch pitch — in theory the model advances 12 inches per revolution
• R version — check the rotation direction and pusher or tractor layout your motor needs before fitting
• Designed for electric power systems

Before ordering, check that your motor and ESC are rated for a 19-inch prop at your cell count, match the hub bore to the motor's prop adapter or shaft, and balance the prop before the first flight, since wood grain and finish vary from piece to piece. Twin-motor models need one prop per motor, so check each motor's rotation before ordering.
