Gemfan Vortex 12x6 Glass Fiber Nylon Electric Propeller

The Gemfan Vortex 12x6 is a low-pitch, two-blade electric propeller for fixed-wing aircraft: 12 inches across, 6 inches of pitch, in glass-fibre-reinforced nylon. The pack holds one 12x6E (CW) and one 12x6R (CCW), so it suits twin-motor planes with counter-rotating props as well as single-motor models that need a spare.

Key features

• Low pitch for the diameter favours static thrust and low-speed pull over top speed, and loads the motor less than a 12x8 or 12x12

• CFD-optimised Vortex airfoil with an optimised leading edge for high-RPM efficiency

• Slim blade tips reduce noise and vortex loss

• Textured hub surface for secure installation on the prop adapter

• Factory tested and dynamically balanced; reducer rings for 3, 3.17, 4, 5, 6 and 8 mm shafts included
