Gemfan 15x10R Electric Wooden Propeller

The Gemfan 15x10R is a two-blade wooden propeller with a 15-inch diameter and a 10-inch pitch, made for electric RC aircraft. Its pitch-to-diameter ratio of about 0.67 suits large electric fixed-wing models that need cruise speed more than static thrust. Sold as a single propeller.

Key features

• Wooden blades — stiff, hold their pitch under load and can be fine-balanced by light sanding
• 10-inch pitch — in theory the model advances 10 inches per revolution, favouring speed over static thrust
• R version — check the rotation direction and pusher or tractor layout your motor needs before fitting
• Designed for electric power systems

Before ordering, match the hub bore to your motor's prop adapter or shaft — enlarge it carefully and squarely if needed — and balance the prop before the first flight, since wood grain and finish vary from piece to piece. Twin-motor models need one prop per motor, so check each motor's rotation before ordering.
