Flight controllers for FPV quads, cinewhoops and X-class builds running Betaflight or INAV. Start with the mounting size: 30.5×30.5 for 5-inch and larger frames, 20×20 for compact builds. Then the processor: F405 boards cover most freestyle builds, F722 adds UARTs and headroom, and H743 boards, many of which also run ArduPilot, suit GPS, HD video and long-range setups. Check the gyro (ICM42688P, BMI270 or MPU6000), barometer, onboard ELRS receiver and the number of UARTs you need for receiver, GPS and HD VTX.
