The TrueRC Core 5.8 is an omnidirectional, circularly polarised antenna for 5.8 GHz FPV video, with its element sealed in a polycarbonate housing. The U.FL versions in 45 mm or 85 mm lengths suit VTXs and air units with a U.FL socket, while the 160 mm SMA and RP-SMA versions fit goggles, video receivers and SMA-equipped VTXs.

SMA and RP-SMA look alike but do not mate: a threaded socket with a centre hole takes the SMA version, one with a centre pin takes RP-SMA. Match polarisation at both ends of the link, as mixing RHCP and LHCP costs a large share of signal.
