Product details
This electronic RC switch lets you remotely toggle power to drone accessories directly from your radio transmitter. It is triggered by a flight controller pad set up as a PINIO output and mapped to an auxiliary switch, so you can easily activate LED strips for night flying or power down your video transmitter on the bench to prevent thermal throttling and overheating.
Key features
- Triggered from any free flight controller pad (such as the LED strip pad or a spare RX/TX pad) configured as PINIO in Betaflight — no full UART needed
- Allows remote power cycling of a VTX to manage thermals while waiting on the starting line
- Perfect for switching navigation LEDs, active buzzers, or custom payloads on fixed-wing and multirotor builds
- Compact footprint easily tucks into tight FPV frames without crowding the flight stack
- Onboard LED lights when the switched output is powered; up to four switches can run on one quad
Specifications
- Operating voltage: 5-28 V (up to 6S HV)
- Switched current: 1 A max
- Dimensions: 10 x 12.5 x 2.5 mm
- Weight: 0.5 g with heatshrink
- Firmware: Betaflight 3.3 or later (PINIO / USER modes), Butterflight
- In the box: switch, heatshrink piece
To install, connect the control lead to a free flight controller pad, assign that pad to PINIO and a USER mode in Betaflight, map the mode to an auxiliary switch on your radio, and wire your accessory in series with the power leads. Always verify the current draw of your specific LED array or VTX before powering up — the switch is rated for 1 A.
