The Scorpion HK5-5024 is a high-power 700-class helicopter motor from Scorpion's fifth-generation HK5 series, offered in 535KV (12S) and 475KV (12-14S) windings, with dual internal and external cooling fans.
Key features
Internal cooling fan combined with an external centrifugal fan nearly doubles airflow through the motor.
6x36mm shaft needs a propeller hub and retaining hardware sized to match.
Ships with three 6mm female bullet connectors and heat-shrink for wiring to the ESC.
Up to 11,500W peak on the 535KV winding (12S) and 12,000W peak on the 475KV winding (12-14S).
A larger 50mm stator gives more torque than the previous HKII-4530 at a similar weight.
