The RadioMaster Bandit Micro is a 915MHz ExpressLRS RF module built for maximum range and signal penetration. Designed to fit standard Micro (JR) module bays, it pairs a powerful ESP32 microcontroller with the Semtech SX1276 RF chip to deliver up to 1W of output power. It is an essential control link for long-range fixed-wing aircraft, heavy-lift drones, and pilots flying through thick foliage or dense urban structures.
Up to 1W output power for robust long-range and high-penetration control links
High-contrast OLED display and directional button for parameter changes without requiring LUA scripts
Integrated active cooling fan maintains stable operating temperatures during extended high-power transmission
External XT30 port supports auxiliary power to prevent draining your primary transmitter battery
Module bay format: Micro (JR)
Frequency: 868/915MHz
RF chip: Semtech SX1276
MCU: ESP32
Max output power: 1W (1000mW)
Refresh rate: Up to 200Hz
Antenna connector: SMA
Auxiliary power input: XT30 (6.0V to 16.8V)
Verify your radio uses a standard JR-style Micro module bay (such as the RadioMaster TX16S or Boxer) rather than a Nano bay. If you plan to fly consistently at the maximum 1W output, power the module externally via the XT30 port using a 2S or 3S LiPo battery to preserve your radio's uptime.
