Product details
The JHEMCU JHE42B is a self-powered lost-model finder that also works as your flight controller's normal beeper. If the main pack ejects or disconnects in a crash, its built-in battery keeps it sounding so you can track the quad down in long grass or crops.
Key features
- Two modes: a standard active buzzer synced to the flight controller, and a standalone alarm after power loss
- 110 dB alarm with a white LED starts 30 seconds after main power is lost
- Recharges from the flight controller whenever the quad is powered; a red LED shows charging and goes out when full
- Hold the button for more than 2 seconds to silence it
- Connects to the buzzer pads of Betaflight, Cleanflight and INAV flight controllers
Specifications
- Volume: 110 dB
- Alarm delay: 30 s after power loss
- Dimensions: 23 × 17 × 17 mm
- Weight: 6–7.4 g
- Included: finder and 3-pin 1.0 mm lead
At about 6 g it adds little to a 3-inch build and is cheap insurance on 5- and 7-inch long-range quads, where a crash far from launch can throw the pack clear. A flashing red LED means the flight controller has lost power and the 30-second countdown has started.
