Product details
The GEPRC SOMA 5.8G is a flat-panel directional patch antenna for ground stations that need extra range from a 5.8 GHz video link. With 17 dBi of gain in a 203.5 mm square, 20 mm thin housing, it concentrates reception in the direction you point it, so pair it with an omni on a diversity receiver to keep coverage when the quad is close in or overhead.
Key features
17 dBi gain from a high-frequency PCB element covering 4.9-6 GHz
RHCP with an axial ratio of 3 or lower and -25 dB cross-polarisation suppression
SWR of 1.5 or lower and 88.5% radiation efficiency
1/4-inch aluminium-alloy base that fits a range of brackets and stands
Every unit is VSWR-checked on a spectrum analyser
