FrSky Taranis Q X7 ACCESS 2.4GHz Transmitter

The FrSky Taranis Q X7 ACCESS is a compact 2.4GHz radio transmitter for pilots flying FrSky receivers on quads, fixed-wings and helicopters. It runs open-source OpenTX, takes an external RF module in its JR-size bay and powers from two 18650 Li-ion cells that charge inside the radio.

Key features

• ACCESS protocol: up to 24 channels over a high-speed module digital interface, with lower latency than ACCST and wireless firmware updates for FrSky OTA receivers
• ACCST D16 support: the ISRM-N internal module also binds 16-channel ACCST D16 receivers
• Controls: quad ball-bearing gimbals, six switches (four 3-position, one 2-position, one momentary), two knobs and a scroll wheel for the backlit 128 x 64 LCD
• Pilot tools: spectrum analyser, wired trainer port, real-time flight data logging and microSD model memory
• Alerts: haptic vibration plus voice and sound outputs for timers, telemetry and warnings
• Power options: the two 18650 cells balance-charge through the Mini USB port; a 2S pack with a 3-pin JST-XH plug, up to 92 x 57 x 18 mm, also fits the bay

18650 cells and a charger are not included. Model files from the Taranis X9D, X9D Plus and X9E carry over, so existing FrSky pilots can move their models across without rebuilding them.
