The Botlab Dynamics BotWire Race Wire is a small bridge board that sits between a motor and the ESC. Instead of soldering the motor's thin leads straight to the ESC, you solder them to the BotWire and run it to the ESC pads — so a prop strike or crash damages a replaceable bridge, not the motor wires, and swapping a motor no longer means re-working the ESC.
