Product details

BetaFPV's SPI receiver board adds radio control to its whoop flight controllers supplied without a built-in receiver: the F4 1S AIO FC and the Lite 1-2S brushless FC (No RX versions). It plugs straight onto the board and weighs 0.43 g, giving a tiny whoop FrSky D8 control on 2.4 GHz with no soldering.

Key features

  • CC2500 radio chip set to FrSky D8 by default; FrSky D16 is not supported
  • Can be switched to Futaba S-FHSS with a firmware change, following BetaFPV's guide
  • Pin connector, plug and play — nothing to solder on the flight controller

Specifications

  • Chip: CC2500
  • Protocol: FrSky D8 (default), Futaba S-FHSS after a firmware change
  • Frequency: 2.4 GHz
  • Weight: 0.43 g
  • Size: 13.5 × 9 mm
  • Connection: pin connector, plug and play
  • Compatible FCs: BetaFPV F4 1S AIO FC and Lite 1-2S brushless FC, No RX versions

Your radio has to transmit FrSky D8, for example through a CC2500-based multi-protocol module or a FrSky radio that still offers D8 mode. D16-only and ELRS radios will not bind to it.
