3K Carbon Fiber Sheet 400mm x 500mm

A 400mm x 500mm 3K carbon fibre sheet in six thicknesses from 1mm to 5mm — room to lay out the arms and plates of a typical 5-inch frame, or a batch of brackets, mounts and spare parts.

Key features

• Solid multi-layer laminate: 3K woven carbon over unidirectional carbon prepreg layers, with no filler core, so strength holds through the full thickness.
• 3K carbon fibre: 3,000 filaments per tow, the standard grade for drone frame plate.
• Six thicknesses: 1mm and 1.5mm for camera plates and covers; 2.5mm and 3mm for top and bottom plates; 4mm and 5mm for arms.
• Durable: resists UV, ageing and corrosion.

Cut with a CNC router or carbide and diamond tooling, with dust extraction or wet cutting — carbon dust is harmful to breathe and electrically conductive. Chamfer or sand the edges so they cannot cut into wires and battery straps.
