Gemfan makes props for every drone we sell, from 31mm whoop props to 15-inch glass-fibre nylon blades for cinelifters and industrial quads. This page collects every Gemfan propeller in our Propellers range. Match the size and shaft to your motors first — whoop props are sold by diameter in millimetres and shaft (1mm, 1.5mm or T-mount), everything larger by diameter and pitch in inches with a 5mm or larger hub — then choose blade count and material for the flying you do.
How to choose a Gemfan prop
Gemfan's four-digit names read diameter then pitch: 1050 is a 10 × 5 inch prop, 1219 a 31mm whoop prop. Blade count and material follow.
- Whoop and micro (31mm, 35mm, 40mm, 45mm, 65mm): polycarbonate, 2 to 4 blades, on 1mm, 1.5mm or T-mount shafts to match 07xx–12xx motors. Sold in sets of 8.
- 5-inch freestyle and racing: 51xx series in polycarbonate; tri-blades for grip, bi-blades and the Master 3D for specific styles.
- Cinelifter and long range (1050, 1070, 1080, 1170, 1270, 1309, 1507, 1510): glass-fibre reinforced nylon 3-blades sold in pairs (1CW + 1CCW) for 7 to 15-inch frames.
- Material: polycarbonate flexes and survives crashes on small quads; GFN and carbon-nylon stay stiff on big props where flex costs efficiency.

Compatibility
Whoop props must match the motor shaft exactly: 0702 and 0802 motors take 1mm shafts, 1102–1103 motors take 1.5mm, and 1202–1204 motors usually T-mount. 5-inch props fit any 5mm-shaft motor with an M5 nut. Cinelifter props use a 5mm or 6mm bore and often come with adapter rings; check the motor's shaft or the hub bolt pattern.
Buy in sets — a set of 8 whoop props is two full sets, a pair of cinelifter props is half a quad — and keep spares of each rotation.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I read Gemfan prop sizes?
- The first two digits are diameter, the last two are pitch: 1050 is 10 inches × 5 inches, 51466 is 5.1 × 4.66. Whoop props are named by diameter in millimetres (31mm, 40mm) plus a model number like 1636.
- 1mm, 1.5mm or T-mount shaft for whoop props?
- Check the motor: 0702 and 0802 motors have 1mm shafts, 1102 and 1103 motors 1.5mm shafts, and most 1202–1204 motors use a T-mount with two screws. The prop hub must match.
- Do cinelifter props come in pairs or sets of four?
- Gemfan's glass-fibre nylon cinelifter props are sold as 1CW + 1CCW pairs; a quad needs two pairs. Some 7-inch props come in sets of four.
